Hello everyone, my trip is coming to a close I’ll be leaving in the next two days to head home. I hope you’ve enjoyed the posts over the last few weeks. I can’t wait to get back to all of you lovely people & share even more with you from my trip.
Have you ever found yourself doing something you never expected? I’ll be honest this whole blogging thing & explaining to people that I have a ministry of sorts on Instagram was not necessarily what I thought I would be doing after Bible school, but you know what I’m enjoying it. I want to encourage all of you not to despise small beginnings & also to encourage you that you may be doing something you never thought you’d do, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not God. God works in mysterious ways. I’ve been able to reach women all over the world because I decided to take a step of faith & do something different. I’ve blogged since I was a teenager, but it was a big step for me to start narrowing the focus. I was nervous that no one would read it, & that I wouldn’t have followers. Now all this being said I see God’s hand in it & I’ve been able to reach so many people & develop awesome friendships, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t had to work hard. Sometimes things will require hard work & it may not be exactly what you expected, but it doesn’t mean God isn’t in it. So if you’re in a season where you’ve found yourself doing something you didn’t expect, rest in the fact that God’s got a plan & even though it may not be exactly what you want it doesn’t mean He’s in it. God knows the desires of your heart & I believe if you commit your life to Him He will lead you to exactly where He wants you & it’ll be great than you could imagine even if right now it doesn’t look like how you expected.
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Isaiah 30:21
The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:11
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.
Proverbs 16:9
