So this past weekend I did something crazy. I went to two different concerts in one weekend, not something I would recommend because you’re definitely going to be exhausted, but I talked about how at every concert I just take a second to take everything in & be in the moment.

What I learned from this crazy weekend is it’s good to take time out of our busy lives & do things we enjoy, but also to remember to take time & be in the moment. I’ll be honest looking back I wish I had spent less time on my phone at the BTS concert so that I could just take it ALL in. There’s a time & place for everything & I’m really realizing that our phones really take away from moments in our life. I know even sitting down & spending time with God can be interrupted if I choose to be unwise with my phone. We need to remember to take time out of our lives & be in the moment. Put the phone down, it’s okay if you don’t get the photo for instagram. Trust me, I love recording memories, because I love going back & looking at them, but when you’ve spent the majority of an event on your phone instead of enjoying it, you look back & are like man, I wish I spent more time in the moment not worrying about if I get that perfect shot. When I spend time in the moment without my phone I always feel so much better, I become more thankful for the life I’ve been blessed to live, because I’m not busy comparing my moments to someone else’s. Make a conscious effort this week to spend more time in the moments of your life without your phone.
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5
A cheerful heart is great medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones
Proverbs 17:22
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Love,
That is a great reminder. Sometimes I have found that photos don’t really do justice for what is around us and yet I keep trying to capture it. Live and enjoy.

That is a great reminder. I find myself sometimes trying to capture something with the phone that really can’t be captured. I can’t capture the full scope of the beauty where I live and yet I keep trying.
