So as many of you may know I’m currently single & I’ll be honest at times in my singleness I’ve felt lonely. I’ve been to a handful of weddings, been a bridesmaid in one, & watched all of my friends since I was in high school be involved in relationships some which have ended & the majority that have gone to the next level. I’m always super happy for my friends & I love being a part of their journeys, but that doesn’t mean at times I don’t still feel lonely. I trust God & I know He has someone special for me & that He’s the one writing my love story, but like I said it can still be difficult at times, but I was reminded of something this past week. So for all you single ladies out there I want you to remember that God thinks about you. In those moments when you wish there was someone thinking about you I want you to remember God. It talks about in the Bible how His thoughts are precious & that they are too numerous to count. This was so comforting to me because I know that through my life God’s thoughts are not only for me, but they’re towards me. He’s thinking about me with love in His heart & with my best in mind & He thinks about you in the same way. Trust me I know when you’re single people will make comments & sometimes without knowing it makes you feel lonely, or like this season will last forever. So I want you to remember that God loves you, He’s for you, He’s thinking about you, & He’s writing your love story. He hasn’t forgotten you, He loves you, & you can trust Him with your heart & your love story. He knows the desires of your heart & as long as you serve Him they will come to pass. So trust Him with your heart & know that He’s always thinking about you.
Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count.

It’s so nice to know that God’s thinking of us and only wants the best for us. It’s true that singles can get lonely but we know that God has our best interests. I’d rather wait for the right one than date just to feed this lonely feeling.

It is such a blessing to know the Lord is thinking about us, all the time. And the fact that he thinks about us individually when there are so many, it’s makes it all the more powerful. God is a good Father, and a husband to those without one. I know a young woman who waited for a husband for so long. As I walked with her and prayed for her through that long season, she grew so close to the Lord. And the time came when he did gave her a wonderful man. God is so precious to us, his timing is always right. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your heart!

Love this! I was single for a looong time before I got married, and in both seasons it’s a great comfort to know how much love God has for me.
