He is Faithful!

When I was working towards graduation in the year 2012 I started a journey. I had no idea where I was going or what to do once I had graduated, there was a dream in my heart, but no plan of execution. I had played with a lot of different things in my head, but couldn’t come to a solid decision. There were a lot of different people speaking into my life & it just confused me more & more. I decided that I would work for a year & that I would move out to California to go to an incredible school. But when it came time to get serious about it, I realized I wasn’t ready. Not wanting to waste another year I signed up for Portland Bible College online. I decided in that moment that I would work towards an Associate Degree(2 years) & then after go to a local college for something else. Over time, I just couldn’t find peace & I would get really frustrated about not knowing what to do. My Mom would tell me to trust God & that He would speak to me when it was time. Now many of you probably know that we always feel like God’s timing is never when we would like it to be. In about Nov of 2014 I was talking to my Mom about how I still didn’t have peace about going to college & we discussed continuing with PBC Online. I told her I would pray about it. & as I prayed about it God reminded me of a promise He had spoken to me earlier in Feb it comes from Isaiah 41:13 & it says For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

This verse reminded me that He had promised to lead me into my destiny if I would just trust Him & not be afraid. In saying all this I want to say don’t worry. God will come through for you. Those promises He’s spoken to you, the dreams you have, & even the words spoken over your life. They will come to pass, because God is faithful. It may not come when we want it to, but when it comes we’ll see everything up until that point was worth it. Just look at all the previous times God has come through in your life & let it stir up your faith. He will come through for you in due season!

God is not a man, so he does not lie.
He is not human, so he does not change his mind.
Has he ever spoken and failed to act?
Has he ever promised and not carried it through?
