Over the past month or two God’s been speaking to me about trusting Him when it comes to my future. I’ve always had a sense of what it is I’ll be involved in, but never the exact steps I need to take in order to get there. I’ve always felt that I was walking around in a dark room, guessing which step I need to take next. I know that with school starting in the next couple days some of you may be wondering what exactly God has planned for you, or maybe it’s that you don’t know the specifics of how to get there. God has been revealing to me that if I’m faithful & I keep pursing Him that He’ll guide me exactly where I need to go. In Isaiah 41:13 it says “For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.” Another verse that I’ve felt God speaking to me through is 1 Corinthians 13:12 it says, “Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.” These two scriptures have become like promises to me, that no matter what comes my way if I continue in the things God asks of me, He will lead me to my destiny. So no matter what stage you are at in your life, if you’re being faithful, even when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, God will lead you exactly where you need to go.
